 Blaze Community Netball Tournament

Congratulations to the players that represented Laurimar Netball Club at the Blaze community tournament today. LWe were represented by an U11's, U13's and U15's team in our first ever tournament.

Thanks to Nicole Pearson, Olevia Pritchard and Jo Wharton for coaching each of the teams.

Although wins were few and far between we saw huge development in each of the teams during the day. The U11's were represented by 11 players who all had a huge smile on their faces at the end of the day. Watching other teams and learning all day, these girls will be better players for the experience. The U13's had our first win of the day and were competitive with the other teams, and also learned a lot from some very talented teams. The U15's won one game and had one draw against some great opposition. The challenge today was to step up after some pretty easy games at local level. The progressed during the day and looked a different team at the end of the competition.

We look forward to the players using what they learned today, and will advertise the next tournament for players to participate in.
